Every day until 4th January 2026
STAFF from Richard Winterton Auctioneers and The Auction Café had fun decorating the firm's tree in the 2025 Lichfield Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival.
The festival opened today, Thursday, December 4, and runs until Sunday, January 4 2026.
It features lots of real Christmas trees decorated by local schools, charities and businesses and is open from 10am until 3pm daily.
Entry is free but visitors can vote for their favorite tree by making a £1 donation.
Richard Winterton Auctioneers also returns as sponsor for Lichfield Cathedral's 2025 Christmas Light Show.
Brought to life by the acclaimed Illuminos team, The Robin's Reward runs from Monday, December 15, until Sunday, December 21, from 5.30pm each evening.
Visitors are encouraged to allow around an hour to enjoy the full experience. Relaxed sessions are also available from Monday to Wednesday, December 15-17, at 5.15pm featuring the two outdoor light shows with reduced volume and limited numbers, ideal for those who would benefit from a more relaxed and supportive environment.
With beautiful projections and lights around The Close and on the iconic West Front of the cathedral, the experience also includes after-hours access to the Christmas tree festival – so don't forget to look out for Richard Winterton Auctioneers' tree!
Tickets are available from Lichfield Cathedral's website.
Celebrations are also in store for The Auction Café, which marks its first birthday on Thursday, December 11, when customers will be offered a free piece of birthday cake with any hot drink, while stocks last.
The Auction Café’s opening hours over the Christmas period can be viewed here.
