Vintage port, malt whisky, Champagne and fine French wine in Lichfield auction

VINTAGE port, whisky, wine and Champagne feature in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' Antique & Home Sale on Monday, June 16.

The sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, starts at 9am.

BBC Bargain Hunt will be filming a ‘super shoot’ for six programmes that day and people are invited to come and watch the auction action.

The alcohol section follows jewellery and coins and starts in style with Lot 699, four bottles of the legendary 1963 vintage Porto Krohn Colheita, continuing until Lot 750.

Malt whisky to be auctioned includes The Macallan 10 years old, Dufftown Glenlivet, Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Balblair, The Glendronach and The Singleton Of Auchroisk 1975. 

Wines include a bottle of Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1968; Bordeaux from one of the finest vintages of the 20th century, the year 2000; and Champagne such as Moet & Chandon, Lanson, Louis Roederer Cristal, Pol Roger and Laurent-Perrier.

The auction also features blended whisky, Cognac, brandy and sherry.
