A HALLOWEEN-themed evening of entertainment has raised more than £2,000 for a Stoke-on-Trent charity.

The sixth Marky's Charity Night, sponsored by Richard Winterton Auctioneers for the third time in a row, featured stars from Dickinson’s Real Deal and raised £2,300 for Queensberry Police Boxing Club.

More than 140 people attended the event at The Queensberry Hub on Saturday, October 25.

With a new look, sound and new host in entertainer Salvatore Tuzze, the evening included a talent contest judged by special guests from Dickinson’s Real Deal, dealers Tim Hogarth, Fay Rutter and Tracy Thackray-Howitt, editor and producer John Miller, and auctioneer Richard Winterton.

Event organiser Mark Maidment said: “Thank you to everyone who came along, Richard for sponsoring us for the third year in a row and to all the Dickinson's Real Deal team once again Tim Hogarth, Fay Rutter and her sister Heidi, Tracy Thackray Howitt and producer John Miller.

"We will be back again next year sponsored by Richard Winterton Auctioneers, date to be confirmed so watch this space."

The Queensberry Police Amateur Boxing Club operates as a charity and has been running since 1981.

It has produced a wide range of national and area champions along with several England Internationals.

David Dickinson will be filming with the Dickinson’s Real Deal camera crews at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, on Monday, November 3, starting at 9am.

People are welcome to come along to the saleroom to watch the auction action.
