STARS from ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal are taking part in a Halloween-themed night of entertainment hoping to raise thousands of pounds for a Stoke-on-Trent charity.
The sixth Marky's Charity Night, sponsored by Richard Winterton Auctioneers for the third time, takes place in the back function room on the ground floor of The Queensberry Hub, 175 Newcastle Road, ST4 6PZ, on Saturday, October 25, from 8pm to 11.45pm.
With a new look, new sound and new host, entertainer Salvatore Tuzze, all proceeds from the evening will go to Queensberry Police Boxing Club.
The evening has a Halloween fancy dress theme for all ages, with small prizes for the best costumes, and attendees can enjoy live music, a delicious buffet, raffle and auction with a host of exclusive prizes including two 43ins 4k televisions and experience flights.
There will also be a talent contest judged by special guests from Dickinson’s Real Deal, dealers Tim Hogarth, Fay Rutter and Tracy Thackray-Howitt, editor and producer John Miller, and auctioneer Richard Winterton.
There will be winners in two categories – under-16s and over-16s – and as well as each winning a cash prize, victors will be presented with ‘Topo’ award trophies in memory of Queensberry stalwart Gary Marston Snr, the late, long-standing chairman of the North Staffs Ex Boxers Association.
Entry to the evening costs £10 for adults, with children admitted for free.

Event organiser Mark Maidment said: “This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a special talent contest judged by our brilliant guests from Dickinson’s Real Deal.
“Come along and meet Tim, Fay, Tracy, John and Richard and enjoy a delicious buffet and a wonderful evening of entertainment all in aid of an amazing local charity.
“Whether you're there to perform, support a great cause, or just soak up the atmosphere, it's an unforgettable night you won't want to miss.”
The Queensberry Police Amateur Boxing Club operates as a charity and has been running since 1981.
It has produced a wide range of national and area champions along with several England Internationals.
