Here are some of our top tips for gifts to make your loved ones feel extra special this festive season.

Lot 412

A vintage Bulgari Parentesi cuff bracelet. This classic 1980s flexible bracelet signed 'BVLGARI' is set with 240 round brilliant cut diamonds. It is a highly sought after piece and would make a wonderful Christmas present.

Lot 488

A Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady Datejust, 31mm, silver dial with roman numeral markers, fluted bezel and presented on a Jubilee bracelet. This model circa 2012 includes warranty card with matching serial number, swing tags, booklets, box, outer box and sleeve.

Lots 401, 402, 403 and 404

Four contemporary rings, clockwise from top left:

  • A flower design set with blue topaz and a central round brilliant cut diamond, in 9ct white gold
  • An 18ct white gold wide ring, pave set with round brilliant cut diamonds, approximate total diamond weight 0.98ct
  • An 18ct white gold ring set with seven interspaced round brilliant cut diamonds, channel set diamonds either side, approximate total diamond weight 0.90ct
  • An 18ct gold three stone signet style bi-colour ring, flush set with three round brilliant cut diamonds, approximate total carat weight 0.30ct.

Lots 406 and 407

Two contemporary line bracelets. Pictured top, Lot 407 has a matte and polished finish, is set with four round brilliant cut diamonds and fitted with a lobster clasp. Lot 407 is a 9ct white gold bracelet set with four round brilliant cut diamonds and also fitted with a lobster clasp.

Lots 486, 482 and 484

Lot 482, centre, is a vintage 18ct gold manual wind Rolex Precision, 20.4mm, with black dial, roman numerals and baton markers, fitted with an articulated mesh style bracelet with folding clasp. The 1970s watch is pictured flanked by two Omega Constellations, Lot 486 with black dial, spot markers and two subsidiary dials, and Lot 484 with mother of pearl dial and diamond dot markers.

Lots 408 and 409

Two contemporary lockets. Left, a 9ct gold circular star set design with 14 round brilliant cut diamonds; right, an 18ct gold oval locket with a scalloped pattern.

The sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, starts at 9am on Monday, December 8.

Viewing in person takes place on Friday, December 5, between 10am and 4pm.

Valuations this December

Free drop-in valuations of jewellery, watches, gold and silver with Midlands gemmologist Georgina Southam FIRV FGA DGA BA (Hons) take place at The Auction Café by Richard Winterton Auctioneers in Market Street, Lichfield on Tuesdays December 9, 16 and 23 between 9.30am and 3pm.

Different specialists offer valuations most Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

On Wednesday, December 3, numismatics expert Phil Bridge will be assessing coins and banknotes.

December 10 will see Jon Price evaluating all types of toys, trains, railwayana, die-cast models, Action Man, Sindy and Barbie.

And on December 17, Richard Winterton will be offering valuations of general antiques and collectables plus advice on house clearances and the auction process.

Plus, join us on Thursday, December 11, to celebrate The Auction Café's first birthday and enjoy a free birthday cake with any hot drink while stocks last!
