A Private Collection of West Midlands Transport Memorabilia

Amongst the lots to be sold in our forthcoming Toys & Railwayana Sale at Richard Winterton Auctioneers near Lichfield on Monday 19th February (sale commences at 12.00 noon) are several lots containing a large collection of colour slides of Buses and Coaches taken throughout the West Midlands area, including a number in Lichfield, over the last fifty years. These slides many with date and location noted tell the history and development of road public transport in the local area and are part of a larger quantity of slides, books, railwayana, bus, tram and model railway items from the collection of the late Mr Anthony Owen Brown who was a well-known West Midlands Transport Enthusiast.
