Here's a look at five of the auction highlights:

Lot 12: A 1953 MG TD Mark II

1953 MG TD Mark II

First registered in June 1953, at 70 years old this antique MG has a 1275cc petrol engine and just seven previous keepers.

Finished in green with a cream leather interior, the vehicle is in good condition, starts first time and runs.

An original right hand drive car, this rare factory stage two specification model is one of just 51 UK TD Mark IIs.

The stage two tuning model had greater power and stability than a 'normal' TD, offering more power and better handling than standard. It also had enhanced suspension, better cornering, a 'faster' rear axle ratio and, latterly in the production run, a different distributer to suit the higher compression ratio.

Being a late car, this TD Mark II enjoys all these improvements over the standard TD.

A total of 29,664 TDs were made between 1949 and 1953, of which just 1,710 were TD Mark IIs. Of those, 51 were sold in the UK; most of the rest were left hand drive and sold in North America.

A surviving right hand drive UK MG TD Mark II is, therefore, something of a rarity.

Lot 9: A 2014 Jaguar XK Dynamic R Auto Coupe

Finished in white with black leather interior, the Jaguar XK Dynamic R was the last edition XKR before the model ended production.

With a 5000cc petrol engine, it featured previous range-topping XKR-S equipment including a 503bhp supercharged V8 engine, six-speed automatic gearbox and full top-end suspension package.

Top speed increased from 155mph to 174mph and the luxurious sports interior was complemented by a larger front splitter, spoiler and side skirts plus a performance exhaust.

A new battery has been fitted and this vehicle starts and drives with no apparent faults. Includes two immobiliser key fobs.

Lot 11: A 1955 Ford-Fordson Thames E83W pickup

Finished in green with black trim, this steel back pickup presents in lovely condition following a detailed restoration which was featured in several publications.

Originally manufactured in 1955, it has a 1172cc petrol engine.

A very rare little truck not often seen in this condition.

Lot 1: A 1968 Daimler V8 250 four door saloon

This luxurious Daimler V8 was first registered in November 1968 and a VDI check shows just two previous keepers, with the current owner obtaining the vehicle in January 2017.

Powered by a manual four speed gearbox with overdrive and finished in light grey with black leather trim in good order, the car appears not to have been restored but may have been painted previously.

And finally...

Lot 2: A 1968 Fiat Vignale Gamine

What a showstopper! Finished in pink with a white interior, this Fiat Vignale Gamine is alleged to have been nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow's car.

First registered in November 1968, it has had six previous keepers but has lain unused for many years.

For detailed information and photographs of each vehicle and others in the auction, view the catalogue online via our Auction Dates page. To view at The Lichfield Auction Centre, email office@richardwinterton.co.uk or call 01543 251081.
