TV broadcast dates revealed for two new episodes of Bargain Hunt filmed in Lichfield

RICHARD Winterton Auctioneers features on two new episodes of popular TV antiques programme Bargain Hunt due to be broadcast this September.

Filming took place at The Lichfield Auction Centre on June 16, with people travelling from all over the country to visit the auction with Richard Winterton yielding the gavel for a Bargain Hunt ‘super shoot’ filming six episodes with 12 teams of contestants.

Experts Roo Irvine and Philip Serrell were helping out the Red and Blue teams, with Natasha Raskin Sharp presenting.

Shopping for items to feature in the auction previously took place at an antiques centre in Newark and at Southwell Racecourse antiques fair.

The first new episode, Series 72 Newark 16, will be transmitted on BBC One at 12.15pm on Monday, September 8.

The second new programme, Series 72 Southwell 18, will be broadcast on BBC One at 12.15pm on Friday, September 19.

Transmission dates for other new episodes filmed that day are expected to be announced in due course.
