Swarovski single-owner collection totals £3,520 in Lichfield auction

Bids flew in for crystal ornaments

A SPARKLING single-owner collection of Swarovski crystal has sold at auction in Lichfield for a total of £3,520.

Catalogued across 28 lots, the ornaments featured with Richard Winterton Auctioneers at The Lichfield Auction Centre on Tuesday, May 27.

Highlights included Lot 846, two boxed Swarovski crystal SCS (Swarovski Crystal Society) members bird figures, selling at £300. The lot featured 2013 Peacock number 1142861 designed by Elisabeth Adamer and 2014 Hyacinth Macaws number 5004730 designed by Stefanie Nederegger.

Selling at £280 was Lot 814, a boxed pair of Swarovski crystal 'Paradise Birds – Mandarin Ducks', number 1141631, designed by Dominic Schopf and issued from 2012 to 2016.

Lot 821 featured three boxed Swarovski crystal waterlilies designerd by Anton Hirzinger, selling at £280. The lot comprised a 'Paradise Flowers' Blue Violet Waterlily, number 1141630, issued 2012-2016, in Provence lavender, blue violet, jonquil, light topaz and erinite crystal; a 'Paradise Flowers' Rosaline Waterlily, number 1141674, issued 2012-2017; and Small Waterlily, number 838181, issued 2005-2008.
