Sutton Coldfield valuation event at Aston Knowles for jewellery, watches, silver, gold and heirlooms

A SPECIAL valuation event in partnership with luxury estate agent Aston Knowles takes place in Sutton Coldfield on Friday, March 20, between 10am and 1pm.

Auctioneer Richard Winterton and Midlands jewellery valuer Georgina Southam FIRV FGA DGA BA (Hons) will be offering free valuations of jewellery, watches, silver, gold and family heirlooms.

Light refreshments will be provided, with a donation of £2 for one item or £5 for three items requested in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital. 

The drop-in event takes place at Aston Knowles, 8 High Street, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1XA.

A previous valuation day at Aston Knowles saw a client present a vintage Bulgari Parentesi cuff bracelet.

Set with 240 round brilliant cut diamonds, the classic 1980s flexible bracelet signed 'BVLGARI' was a highly sought after piece and subsequently went under the hammer at The Lichfield Auction Centre for £9,600.

Other recent sales included a splendid single-owner collection of jewellery, watches and silver which totalled £79,560 at auction.

Competitive bidding drove strong results throughout, which highlights including an 18ct gold textured hollow curb link bracelet selling at £4,400; an 18ct gold Italian mariner chain necklace selling at at £4,000 and an 18ct gold link chain necklace fetching £3,800.

An 18ct white gold Baume & Mercier diamond-set wristwatch made £4,000, a manual wind Bulova wristwatch sold at £1,800 and an Elizabeth II silver twin-handled tray made £1,800.

Another auction featured a Rolex GMT-Master II 116710, which sold at £6,600.
