Star Wars rarities, trains and toys join football programmes, medals and militaria in Tamworth auction
THE catalogue for our next Tamworth auction on Wednesday, March 20 is available to view online now.
Featuring 431 lots, the sale at The Tamworth Auction Rooms takes place on Wednesday, March 20.
Highlights range from Star Wars collectables to a 1920s French tinplate toy fire truck, pictured, and a WW1 Prussian helmet.

Star Wars rarities include a sealed Palitoy trilogo Return Of The Jedi Princess Leia Organa in Hoth outfit from 1983 and sealed 1982 Palitoy Cloud Car Pilot figure for The Empire Strike Back plus numerous other figures and vehicles.

Toys and trains include die-cast vehicles, boxed Moko Lesney Matchbox, boxed Corgi Vanguards, Corgi aviation models and locomotive and rolling stock by Bachman Branch-Line, Heljan, Hornby, Dapol, Accurascale, Graham Farish, Marklin, Roco and Tri-ang.
There is also an impressive collection of boxed Britains collectors military figurines catalogued across a number of lots.

More than a dozen lots feature hundreds of vintage football programmes dating back to the 1950s, with further lots featuring football books and vintage boxed Subbuteo items.
Detailed collections of programmes include Walsall, Stoke City and Port Vale.
The sale also features a large number of Premier League club programmes from various decades including Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

The militaria section includes First World War and Second World War medals, cloth insignia, military headgear including a 1964 SAS beret, vintage military equipment, framed prints, cigarette cards and photographs.
