Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge collection coming to Lichfield auction

THIS delightful collection of Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge was consigned to auction at Lichfield following a valuation today, Thursday, June 12.

The collection has been catalogued across nine lots and will feature in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' Antique & Home Sale on Monday, June 30.

It includes charming figurines, ceramic books, plates, miniature trios and a couple of printed books.

Especially sure to attract interest from collectors are a sought-after selection of plates from the rare ‘Dining By The Sea’ series.

A series of illustrated children's books by Jill Barklem, Brambly Hedge tells of the adventures of a caring community of mice living in the tranquil English countryside.

The collection coming to auction was consigned by two sisters from Burntwood whose mother put the set together.
