Preview: Tamworth auction's focus on cameras and optical gear alongside medals and militaria

CAMERAS, photography gear and optical equipment join medals and militaria in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' upcoming Tamworth sale.

Taking place at The Tamworth Auction Rooms on Wednesday, June 25, the sale starts at 9.30am and the catalogue can be viewed online here.

A large array of cameras and lenses includes modern and vintage photography gear from brands such as Nikon, Canon, Leica, Sony, Zeiss, Rolleiflex, Mamiya, Olympus, Pentax, Tamron and Yashica.

Optical equipment includes Swarovski binoculars and a Leica spotting scope.

The medals and militaria section contains a Crimea Medal with Sebastopol clasp, First World War and World War Two medals, a post-WW2 RAF uniform, bayonets and a 1914 Princess Mary gift tin.

The sale also features an array of 1980s toys, McDonald's rarities, die-cast and trains.
