Sale date Monday 26th January
TIME is already flying, it seems, as January 2026 begins to come to an end.
Richard Winterton Auctioneers' Antiques & Home Sale on Monday, January 26 features a number of luxury and prestige watches.
Here are three of our favourites.
Lot 479: Piaget diamond dress watch

This glamourous circa 1970s diamond set dress watch has a hand wound movement and round silver tone dial with baton markers and a white metal diamond set bezel.
As one would expect with Piaget, a brand known for its ultra-thin movements and elegant design blending haute horlogerie with fine jewellery, this is a sparkling showstopper of a timepiece.
Its case width is a dainty 24mm and the bezel is adorned by 36 diamonds, with an approximate total diamond weight of 0.54ct.
The watch has a screw-down caseback and is fitted with an integrated mesh bracelet with folding clasp stamped 750 and signed Piaget.

Lot 476: Rolex Lady Datejust

It's an all-time classic, the Rolex Datejust. This two-tone manual-wind Lady Datejust has a sophisticated and highly legible white dial adorned with Roman numerals surrounded by a crisp railroad track marking the minutes.
The date aperture sits at three o'clock underneath the iconic cyclops lens and a fluted bezel tops the 26mm case, which has a screw-down caseback.
The watch is fitted with a bi-colour Jubilee bracelet with folding clasp signed Rolex and is sold together with a Rolex box.
Lot 478: Frederique Constant Maxime Manufacture

Something a bit more substantial in terms of size now, but still dressy.
Just look at the silver tone guilloché dial with central sunray detailing of this automatic Frederique Constant from the Maxime Manufacture line. Replete with Roman numerals and a subsidiary date dial at six o'clock, this Swiss-made timepiece effortlessly transfers from the boardroom to the ballroom.
The 42mm stainless steel case has a display caseback exhibiting the in-house developed 26 jewel FC-700 automatic movement.
The watch comes fitted on a brown leather croc strap with ardillon buckle.
