AN impressive collection of silver has sold at auction in Lichfield for £6,050.
The single-owner collection was catalogued across 18 lots with Richard Winterton Auctioneers at The Lichfield Auction Centre on Monday, May 19.
Highlights included Lot 503, an Elizabeth II twin-handled wine cooler of urn form, selling at £1,050, and Lot 504, an Elizabeth II five light candelabrum in late-George III neo-classical style, selling at £1,150.

The collection also had pieces from the reign of George III such as a William Pitts silver snuffer tray and a pair of candle snuffers by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard I, selling at £400, and a two-bottle oil and vinegar cruet by Jabez Daniell and James Mince, which sold at £280.
A Victorian four-piece cruet by George Fox made £260 and a pair of William IV bottle coasters by Creswick & Co, Sheffield, sold at £340.
