Jewellery and silver: Huge single owner collection to auction in Lichfield

A HUGE single owner collection including jewellery, watches and silver worth tens of thousands of pounds will go to auction across two sales in Lichfield next month.

Consigned following a recent house clearance in Little Aston, this incredible treasure trove will features in two of Richard Winterton Auctioneers' Antiques & Home Sales on Monday, February 9 and Monday, February 16.

Jewellery includes gold chains and heavy bracelets, gold cufflinks and many impressive rings such as a diamond and emerald cluster ring and a large diamond cluster ring.

There are also Victorian shield-back full gold sovereigns.

Watches include an 18ct white gold and diamond Baume & Mercier,  a 9ct gold Bueche-Girod and a 9ct gold Bulova.

A large accumulation of predominantly Elizabeth II silverware features good examples of candlesticks, tea and coffee pots, plates, bowls, jugs, goblets, a twin-handled bowl and glass and silver decanters.

The collection also includes Fabergé Champagne flutes, Worcester ceramics and designer clothing, including a Burberry coat.

Viewing in person at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, takes place between 10am and 4pm on Friday,  February 6, for the February 9 sale and during the same times on Friday, February 13, ahead of the February 16 sale.

Each auction starts at 9am with the jewellery sections commencing at approximately 10.30am.
