ROLLING Stones fans will get satisfaction from a huge collection of music and memorabilia going under the hammer at The Lichfield Auction Centre on Monday, June 2.

Catalogued across 30 lots, the impressive single owner collection spans the legendary rock 'n' roll band's six decades of stardom and dives deep enough to keep even the most hardcore Stones fan happy.

From early 45rpm singles and original LPs to modern special edition box sets and heavy-duty vinyl, the band's iconic catalogue of more than 400 songs is well represented with musical gems galore guaranteed to make audiophiles go wild.

There's also enough merchandise to fill out a black limousine, including posters, tour T-shirts, caps, bandanas, Zippo lighters, badges, magazines and books.

You can't always get what you want but one lot even includes a set of collectable figures of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and Ronnie Wood, complete with instruments.

A whole lotta music from the Stones' great rivals Led Zeppelin also pops up in the collection, with six Super Collection editions of Led Zeppelin, the untitled fourth album, Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through The Out Door and Coda.

The sale starts at 9am on June 2 and you will be able to view the catalogue online a week before via our Auction Calendar.

Viewing in person takes place on Friday, May 30, from 10am until 4pm.

It may be only rock 'n' roll but we like it – and as for Stones fans? Wild horses couldn't drag them away.
