Free valuations of watches and timepieces at The Auction Café in Lichfield this month

WATCH specialist Ben Winterton will be offering free appraisals of all types of timepieces at a special valuation event in Lichfield next week.
Auctioneer and valuer Ben will be at The Auction Café at 34 Market Street between 10am and 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 29.
From respected leading brands such as Rolex, Omega and A. Lange & Söhne to vintage horology from Aquastar, Garrard, Roamer, Waltham and Zodiac; military-inspired pieces by Hamilton, IWC and Eterna to tool watches by the likes of Breitling, TAG Heuer and Seiko; GADA (go-anywhere, do-anything) watches by Oris, Longines and Tissot to dressier timepieces by Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre – auction is the perfect place to sell or buy wristwatches and pocket watches of all types.
On July 29, Ben will be offering free valuations and advice on timepieces ranging from antique and vintage to modern, including military issue watches, sports watches and formal timepieces.
Recent sales at auction have included a two-tone Rolex Lady-Datejust at £3,800 and a collection of Casio quartz watches selling at £1,100.

The Auction Café by Richard Winterton Auctioneers is open seven days a week, from 9am-4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sundays.
Free valuations of jewellery, watches, gold and silver with Midlands gemmologist Georgina Southam FIRV FGA DGA BA (Hons) take place most Tuesdays between 9.30am and 3pm.
Each Wednesday throughout the month sees a different specialist offering valuations between 9.30am-12.30pm and on July 30, Sarah Williams will be back to evaluate antiques, ceramics, glass and pictures.
As well as valuations on set days, The Auction Café offers speciality coffee, tea, soft drinks, ice cream, cakes, cream teas, pastries, toasties, bagels and savoury snacks seven days a week in comfrtable air-conditioned surroundings.
Seating is also available outside on Lichfield's historic Market Street.
