February serves up new menu of free valuations at The Auction Café in Lichfield

FEEL the love this February with a host of free valuations at The Auction Café in Lichfield.

The popular coffee shop at 34 Market Street is open seven days a week, from 9am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sundays.

Free valuations of jewellery, watches, gold and silver with Midlands gemmologist Georgina Southam FIRV FGA DGA BA (Hons) take place at the café on Tuesdays February 3, 10, 17 and 24 between 9.30am and 3pm, with an extra date on Wednesday, February 25, from 9.30am and 3pm to create a special double jewellery valuation at the end of the month.

Different specialists offer valuations on other Wednesdays in the month from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

On Wednesday, February 4, Rob French will be evaluating autographs, ephemera, whisky and wine.

Wednesday, February 11, will see Richard Winterton at the café offering valuations of general antiques and collectables plus advice on house clearances and the auction process.

And on Wednesday, February 18, Jon Price will be there for valuations of toys, trains and railwayana.

While love is in the air, drop in to the café to ask about our special upcoming Valentine's evening pottery painting from 5.30pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 12.

Enjoy a cosy night with your friends or partner decorating your very own heart-shaped trinket dish or other pottery item.

The £25 ticket price includes a luxury hot drink of your choice, cake, pottery item and selection of paint colours.

The Auction Café offers speciality coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks, ice cream, cakes, cream teas, pastries, soup, toasties, bagels and savoury snacks seven days a week.
