RICHARD Winterton Auctioneers is proud to present a special valuation event in partnership with luxury estate agent Aston Knowles.

The free, drop-in event takes place on Friday, October 17, between 10am and 2pm at Aston Knowles, 8 High Street, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1XA.

Complimentary refreshments will be on offer during the event, where people can have free appraisals of jewellery, watches, silver, gold and heirlooms and choose whether to consign them to auction.

Auctioneer Richard Winterton and Midlands jewellery valuer Georgina Southam FIRV FGA DGA BA (Hons) will be assessing:

  • Fine, antique, vintage and modern jewellery
  • Silver, gold and gemstones
  • Antique, vintage and modern watches
  • Military issue timepieces
  • Pocket watches.
No appointment is needed – simply drop in on the day and we’ll be delighted to help.

Items consigned on the day will go under the hammer at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park.

Recent sales of jewellery include a 1974 18ct yellow gold Rolex GMT-Master 1675 on an 18ct gold Jubilee bracelet selling at £13,500 and a 29mm Rolex Yacht-Master sold at £2,800.

The same auction featured a pair of diamond floral cluster earrings by renowned jewellery designer Andrew Grima, sold at £2,800.

Other popular lots at auction recently included a three stone diamond ring comprising a marquise cut stone flanked by two pear cut diamonds, sold at £2,100; a tiny French Cartier 'Touch Wood' charm, sold at £1,900; and an 18ct white gold diamond tennis bracelet, sold at £1,300.
