Our toy consultant has all the necessary skill and experience in dealing with all manner of vintage or recent toys, dolls and model trains – from Dinky, Matchbox, Corgi toys and tinplate to Wrenn, Hornby and Bassett-Lowke model trains and 1980s favourites including Star Wars, Masters Of The Universe and The A-Team.

We regularly handle the sale of single toys and entire collections including an enormous lifetime collection of OO Gauge model trains, which realised more than £30,000 and featured in the national press.

Another collection, an array of early Kenner and Palitoy Star Wars figures which had been lovingly kept sealed in original blister packs for 40 years, went under the hammer for £15,130.

It included a 1983 Kenner figure of Boba Fett, which sold at £1,600, and a Palitoy Luke Skywalker figure, which made £1,350.

Three original ‘Mail-away’ Boba Fett figures still sealed in original plain packaging totalled £3,300.

Recent online auctions have also proven that unbuilt model aircraft kits really do fly, too, with large collections reaching for the skies to realise thousands of pounds.

Sought-after brands include including Airfix, Matchbox, Italeri, ESCI, Hasegawa, Revell, Frog, Novo, Hales, Meikraft, Lee and HPC.

Diecast models are also incredibly popular, with a single owner collection including boxed 1960s Corgi and Dinky exceeding £6,500 at auction in 2022.

As well as models, this department handles all manner of railwayana including vintage station signs, locomotive plates and photographs.

All consignments are carefully researched and catalogued, adding to the strong reputation built up with serious buyers worldwide.

Telephone or email us with details of your toys and our expert will be pleased to provide a free auction estimate. We also offer a complimentary home visit for large or bulky collections and can organise packing and haulage to the salerooms.
