David Dickinson is coming to Lichfield
CELEBRITY antiques expert David Dickinson is coming to Lichfield next week.
The perma-tanned TV presenter – who was once dubbed ‘The Real-Life Lovejoy’ – will be at Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Wednesday, July 18 filming an auction segment of Dickinson’s Real Deal following a recent valuation event at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
Film crews will be at The Lichfield Auction Centre off Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, during Richard Winterton’s Three Day Home & Interior Sale on July 17-19.
In Wednesday’s auction, which starts at 10am, people taking part in the show will get the chance to see if their item is cheap-as-chips or a real bobby dazzler!
“We’ve been involved with Dickinson’s Real Deal for many years and it’s always great fun to welcome David back to Lichfield,” said Mr Winterton.
“Auctions are very entertaining to watch anyway and with ITV here too it promises to be a very entertaining spectacle, so do come and join us.”
He added: “For those who may not have been to an auction before, don’t fret – you won’t end up accidentally buying something by scratching your nose!”
Now back for a 15th series, Dickinson’s Real Deal is currently one of the most popular daytime shows on ITV and is regularly watched by over a million people.
Viewing for Richard Winterton’s Three Day Home & Interior Sale is on Saturday, July 14, from 9.30am until noon; from 9am-6pm on Tuesday, July 17 and on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8.30am. Tuesday’s sale starts at midday; the other auctions begin at 10am.
The Lichfield Auction Centre carries out free general valuations every Tuesday from 9.30am-4pm.
