Coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
LICHFIELD’S auction house has raised £170 for Macmillan Cancer Support after staff pulled on their oven gloves and got baking in the name of charity.
Richard Winterton Auctioneers staged a Macmillan Coffee Morning at The Lichfield Auction Centre at Fradley Park on Tuesday, September 25.
Auctioneer Richard Winterton, pictured below, said: “We really enjoyed doing our bit for this year’s coffee morning.
“It was great to get people together, have a nibble and a natter and raise money for Macmillan to help people living with cancer at the same time.
“I want to thank everyone who supported and helped to make it a success.”
The charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has become a British institution over the years – with thousands of events happening up and down the country.
