Audiophile hi-fi gear exceeds £12,000 at auction in Lichfield

Naim Audio equipment a smash hit

BIDDERS battled over a magnificent collection of audiophile hi-fi equipment which went under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers today, Monday, January 26.

Highlights of the sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre included a Naim Audio ND555 media player, sold at £2,700, and a Naim Audio CD555 CD player, sold at £1,600.

Two Naim Audio CD555PS power supplies, each sold separately, totalled £2,600.

A further lot comprising Naim Audio component hi-fi items made £1,750 and a Linn Sondek LP12 turntable with power supply fetched £1,150.

Later in the same sale, a vintage Leak 'Point One' 12W valve amplifier and Varislope Mk2 pre amp together with four loose valves sold at £1,350.
