WE'RE all revved up for two historic motorbikes going under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Tuesday, May 6.

Taking place at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, the sale starts at 10.30am and the catalogue can be viewed online now here.

Lot 2 is a 1952 DOT – 'Devoid Of Trouble' – T.D. scrambler, an incomplete restoration motorcycle project in black and silver with a 197cc Villiers two stroke petrol engine.

First registered on September 24 1952 with number plate MON 727 (non transferrable) and no previous keepers stated.

The odometer reads 9,040 miles (unwarranted) and boxes of new, restored and original parts to finish this project are included.

The V5C is present and there is also a comprehensive pack of receipts for the new parts.

Lot 3 is an ex-Indian Army military Royal Enfield Bullett motorcycle.

Imported in 1999-2000 but never UK registered, the odometer reads 3,930 miles (untested).

The vendor, who believes the bike to be 1970s, purchased it from an Indian Army vehicle auction whilst living in India and used the machine to ride ere for
