Pokémon TCG: Van Gogh Museum promo Pikachu, Secret Rare cards and unopened Japanese booster packs in Lichfield auction

EXCITING Pokémon consignments are currently being catalogued for Richard Winterton Auctioneers' upcoming sale on Monday, June 29.

Highlights include a highly sought-after 2023 Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat promo card, released exclusively through the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, estimated at £250 to £350.

The partnership was based on the shared connection between the Japanese cultural icon that is Pokémon and the fact that Vincent van Gogh found Japanese prints a significant source of inspiration.

Other treasures in the sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre on June 29 include a folder packed with Secret Rare cards, estimated at £500 to £700.

There is also a selection of unopened original Japanese booster packs, including:

• Neo Destiny – guided £600 to £800
• Neo Revelation – guided £300 to £400
• Neo Genesis – guided £150 to £200.
