Vibrant designs from iconic British art pottery manufacturer
THERE were magical moments for marvellous Moorcroft in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' sale today (Monday, April 28) as a super collection totalled £4,150.
Highlights included Lot 846, a prestige 'London' vase by Paul Hilditch, limited edition numbered 131, selling at £1,100.

Also extremely popular with bidders was Lot 982, a large 'Woodside Farm' floor vase designed and signed by Anji Davenport and dated 1999, which sold at £900.
Eye-catching craftsmanship paired with vibrant designs, perfectly illustrating why Moorcroft is so admired around the world.

The next sale at Fradley on Tuesday, May 6, includes another superb selection of ceramics.
The Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase going to auction on May 6.
Starting at 10.30am, the auction includes a huge single owner collection of 18th, 19th and 20th century Wedgwood black basalt, featuring busts, figures, teapots, vases, candlesticks and wall plaques.
The collection also features a Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase, pictured above. Other ceramic treasures in the auction include a large selection of Worcester pieces consigned by various clients.
