THESE classic cars go under the hammer at The Lichfield Auction Centre on Tuesday, August 6, on Day Two of that week’s Antiques & Home Sale.

GP Madison sports roadster

This GP Madison sports roadster in cream has original donor components from a 1956 Volkswagen Beetle with a 1700cc rear mounted air cooled petrol engine and four speed manual gearbox.

There is a receipt for build from 1995, V5C present stating first registration (for donor car) May 1 1956 and states historic vehicle and plate changed to WFF 889 in 1995.

Odometer reads 21,181 miles (unwarranted), soft top is present, one key, some receipts and paperwork.

Condition Report: Starts and drives but runs rough and rich, bodywork is ok but some crazing to finish, driver's seat cover missing, some internal panels missing, soft top needs attention.

Estimate: £2,500-£3,000

1930s Austin Six

A 1930s Austin Six open tourer four seater car in blue is a restoration project with side screens but no soft top.

No registration plates fitted, plates under bonnet states Car No STS-462-6 and Chassis No 6783001/L6.

A straight six engine, four speed manual gearbox, black vinyl bench seats front and back.

Odometer reads 27,215 miles (unwarranted), no key or V5C.

Condition report: Not started, no cranking handle, some paint losses

Estimate: £1,500-£2,000

1939 Hillman 14

This 1939 Hillman 14 four door saloon car in black has a 1700cc petrol engine manual gearbox, a brown leather interior and a sun roof.

V5C present, first registered May 2 1939 with plate FXE 719, one former keeper and no keys.

Odometer reads 34,192 (unwarranted), no further paperwork.

Condition report: Surface rust to bodywork (no deep or holed rust spots) hasn't been started or driven, some minor crazing to leather seats, underside not checked.

Estimate: £1,500-£2,000
