David Dickinson visits The Lichfield Auction Centre to film ITV Dickinson’s Real Deal

THE Lichfield Auction Centre has welcomed ‘The Duke’ himself, celebrity antiques expert David Dickinson, to film for new episodes of the hit ITV programme Dickinson’s Real Deal.

David and his team visited our Fradley Park headquarters on Tuesday, July 26, as items consigned from two ‘dealer days’ at Wolverhampton Racecourse on July 2 and Burton Market Hall on July 10 went under the hammer.

“We had a great day filming with David to capture auction sequences for two new episodes,” said auctioneer Richard Winterton, who was yielding the gavel on the day.

“It’s always a pleasure to see the Real Deal team and we had a real bobby dazzler!”

Cameras were rolling for the 18th series of ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal, which sees people take in their collectables for valuation and then decide whether to take a dealer’s cash offer or put the item up for auction.
