Collection of vintage car, motorbike, cycle and railway lamps in Lichfield auction

AN IMPRESSIVE single owner collection of early to mid-20th century car, motorcycle, bicycle and railway lamps features in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' sale on Monday, May 19.

Catalogued across more than 70 lots, the collection also includes car badges, speedometers, dials, horns, steering wheels, parts, spares, oil cans, vintage manuals and motoring magazines from the 1930s to the 1960s.

Particular interest is expected for Lot 966, pictured above, a 1920s motoring picnic set by Barrett & Sons.

Other highlights include Lucas lamps and Jaguar bonnet mascots.

The sale takes place at The Lichfield Auction Centre on May 19 and starts at 9am.
