A few more results from today's Lichfield sale, including a collection of militaria relating to Polish WW2 forces (sold at £320). The auction also featured a large archive of official British WW2 photographs (sold £280), a group of 11 medals covering WW1 and WW2 (sold £250) and a Commanding Officer's pennant for the North Staffs Regiment (sold £240). The wooden de Havilland aircraft engine propeller also sold for £240, as did 57 copies of The Eagle glider pilot magazine. A late Victorian military dress sword went under the hammer for £520 while another two military-related swords sold at £340.
