Records, Records, Records!!
Richard Winterton Auctioneers are enjoying a record Autumn so far with some major collections being sold.
September saw the Longdon House sale together with many other large estates and strong results saw the old single auction total, which has stood for 15 years, smashed!
This was quickly followed with the exciting single owner Art of the Orient sale, which saw items sold to over 9 different countries.
And to cap a quite outstanding four week period, the Amington House sale results again exceeded the old 15 year record.
Richard Winterton commented:
It’s quite remarkable the amount of interest in Auctions at the moment. The number of people coming to our View days and Sale days is outstanding. Prospective purchasers are realising that they can make exciting purchases at the Auction Rooms, with so many diverse items on offer.
Day One we have jewellery and silver, which is proving very popular, to obtain that special present, Day Two is the collectables, glass, ceramics, pictures and Day Three is the furniture, which has seen the biggest increase, with purchasers able to buy tools and garden equipment, three piece suites, fridge freezers, tvs, cookers, etc. and then they are able to go to the Fine Art Saleroom and buy some outstanding pieces of furniture.
