Far Fillimore Care Home Summer Fete – Hanbury, Burton on Trent – Saturday 25th June 2011
We are delighted to report that the antiques valuation day at Far Fillimore Care Home was a resounding success last Saturday (25th June). The odd rain shower did not dampen the spirits and many turned out for a fun packed day at the fete.
The antiques valuation session hosted by Adrian Rathbone, Associate of Richard Winterton Auctioneers Lichfield was well attended. Highlights included a rare late nineteenth century bronze figure, a Victorian silver ewer and a vast collection of Chinese ceramics and works of art which are being consigned to auction. Adrian Rathbone comments:
‘We are once again delighted to support this worthwhile cause and will continue to do so in the future’
The event raised over £1,700 to enhance the everyday life of the residents.
