Richard Winterton Auctioneers to Host Antiques Road Show event at the historic Tean Hall Mills
Richard Winterton Auctioneers are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an ‘Antiques Road Show’ style event at the historic and beautifully restored seventeenth century manor house, Old Tean Hall at Upper Tean in Staffordshire.
You are invited to bring along any items which you feel are of value/interest and we will value it for you there and then. The special event takes place on May 13 at Tean Hall Mills, (www.teanhallmills.co.uk) when the historic properties will also be open for you to have a look around.
Particular items we are interested in include coloured glass, art deco pieces, collectables, medals and military objects. But if you feel an item is worth something then bring it along, you just never know, you could have thousands of pounds stashed away somewhere without even realising it!
Richard Winterton will give a talk on ‘What is an antique’ and will also host a question and answer session. So even if you don’t have anything to bring along you can come for the talk and to view the properties and learn of the fascinating history behind Tean Hall Mills.
If you are planning to attend please let us know in advance what item you will be bringing. Please contact Rachael Lowe at DDPR on 01384 878777 or email Rachael@ddpr.biz.
The event takes place on Thursday May 13 from 5pm to 8pm.
The stunning homes at Tean Hall Mills have come onto the market following the restoration and conversion of two Grade II* listed landmark buildings of Staffordshire.
The properties on offer at Tean Hall Mills include the Old Hall House, the former Tean Hall, an ancient black and white half timbered manor house, originally built in 1613. The other is The Old Hall, an elegant Georgian mansion, which has been converted into three beautiful apartments, each with its own individual features and style.
Both historic properties are located in the village of Upper Tean, on the site of a two hundred year old textile mill, now converted into luxury living accommodation, and once belonged to the mill owners, John and Nathaniel Phillips.
